Hurricane Milton

We have a hurricane coming right for us. It has been a long time since we have hade a direct hit. The kids have been off of school all week. I have been working all weekend and on Monday on top of storm prep at home. I will post multiple time during the hurricane to keep everyone updated. Milton is a CAT 5 but is expected to bet a CAT 3 on land fall. We are staying put. We have got food and drinks to get us through. We have our shutters up and power banks charged to charge our electronics. I am expecting the power to go out.

I did something different this time around I filled my washer with ice and ydrinks to keep them colder longer. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1IACJs3AdE05B1exXnP7V1_c_ZcqDBp8ghttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1FYBN6o1a5b7dHBV8gb7-1NdbNL-PBFIr

I also have a cooler for cold food if and when the power goes out. We will get through this as a family. Hoping my loved ones and friends are safe during the next few days.

My new beginning

I have had a lot going on in my life since Covid. I moved the kids and I in with my parents to help them out. During that time I realized that I was able to be me and I was ok with that. It came to a point that I knew my marriage was over. I started the process for a divorce.  I worked on me and my feelings and I am happy with me. I know how I should be treated and I want my boys to see how they should treat their partner and I want my daughter to see how she should be treated. I love how my family is now and we are all happy. I found someone who makes me happy and treats me really good. We have been together for over a year now. I have been happier then I have been before.  This is my blog for my new beginning

1:45pm Milton update

It is raining and windy here. We have some water pooling in the yard and a nice flow of water on the street gutters. Now that we are back inside it is time to finish cooking before the power goes out
